New update for Crew Sync

More new features in Crew Sync—keeping your flight schedule soaring! The app has undergone a major overhaul, with improvements across both the mobile and Wear OS versions.

Lots of news in Crew Sync — taking your roster to new heights! The app has undergone a major redesign for both mobile and watch versions.

Quick filters and smarter categorization – The calendar features filter chips that let you quickly view flights, layovers, reserves, or days off. Events now have specific colors and icons, making it easier to identify each type of commitment.

Connections with colleagues, friends, and family – You can now search for other crew members by their Crew Sync ID, send and accept connection requests, and share your roster with approved contacts, whether they're crew members from your company, partner airlines, or even your friends and family. For friends and family, simply select "visitor mode" when launching the app for the first time, and they'll be able to view your flight schedule in a friendly and easy-to-understand format. It's now much easier to compare rosters and sync vacations or days off with your friends and fellow crew members.

Statistics and community – A statistics panel displays data such as number of operated and deadhead flights, time away from base, and layover patterns. The "Community" tab, accessible with your consent, places you in a ranking with other users for some healthy competition.

Route map with new features – The map has been redesigned. You can switch between daily and monthly views and see totals for flights, airports, and routes. In the layers menu, you can enable or disable routes, METAR reports, and SIGMET hazard areas. Markers display weather condition icons, and the map can be shared.

Weather center – A new weather center brings together radar, satellite, precipitation and cloud overlays, METAR/TAF reports, aerodrome warnings, and hazard alerts. You can search airports, view weather animations, and check aviation-specific forecasts.

Crown navigation on Wear OS – In the watch app, the item list can be scrolled using the rotating crown or virtual crown. Subtle vibrations accompany each step, making navigation more enjoyable.

Haptic feedback and improved animations – Both mobile and watch versions now feature smoother animations and more refined haptic responses, providing a more pleasant experience.

Bug fixes and performance improvements – Several issues have been resolved, and overall performance and battery consumption have been optimized.
