Terms of Use

By using the CrewSync app (iOS, Apple Watch, Android, Wear OS, Garmin watches (Connect IQ), Alexa and Android Auto — with Android Auto/Automotive as a future integration), you agree to the following Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of the App
CrewSync is an independent personal-organization tool, designed to help crew members manage rosters, duty periods, rest periods and personal planning. CrewSync is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or operated by any airline.
1.1 Garmin watches app (Connect IQ)
CrewSync offers a free, optional app for Garmin watches (the Connect IQ platform) that shows your roster on your wrist. The watch does not sign in: pairing uses a one-time code and the watch stores only a device token (details in the Privacy Policy). Syncing the roster to the watch is a Premium feature. Use of the Garmin app is subject to these same Terms of Use.
2. Access to Airline Systems
As a general rule, CrewSync:
- Does not request corporate-system login or password on its own screens.
- Does not perform scraping, hidden automation or unauthorized access.
- Does not use shared accounts or third-party credentials.
Roster data must be provided by the user, from the airline's official sources (portal PDF, official app, etc.).
2.1 Optional official integrations (CrewLink/IADP — GOL, IADP — ABX Air, iFlight Crew — LATAM)
For crew members of certain airlines, CrewSync offers integration with the airline's own official SSO portal. These integrations are 100% optional: you do not need to enable them to use CrewSync, and the app never enables them automatically — it depends on an explicit action by you.
Without the integration enabled (default behavior): the roster is imported manually by you (official portal PDF); no airline token, password or cookie is stored; no request is sent to the airline's systems by the app. All other features remain fully available.
With the integration enabled (by your choice): authentication happens inside an embedded browser pointing to the airline's official domain. Your password does NOT pass through CrewSync — it is entered directly on the portal. Only the session token issued by the portal is stored, locally on your device. The session is strictly personal, used in your own name, only to view your flight crew, import your roster and check notices. At no point does CrewSync act on behalf of another person or share your session data with third parties. You can end the session at any time in settings.
3. Third-Party Apps and Scraping
CrewSync does not perform scraping, does not simulate clicks on internal systems and does not use credentials without consent. When it uses an official channel (such as GOL's CrewLink/IADP, ABX Air's IADP, or LATAM's iFlight Crew), it does so transparently, with manual login by the crew member on the official portal and storing only the session token on the device. This approach is intentional and prioritizes ethics, security and legal compliance.
4. User Responsibility
CrewSync is an independent app and has no official ties to GOL, LATAM, Azul or any other airline. Roster updates depend on the file imported by the crew member. Whenever there are changes in the airline's official system, the crew member must re-import the roster.
It is the user's sole responsibility to keep their roster up to date in CrewSync and to verify information such as flights, dates, times and report times. CrewSync is not responsible for late report times or for discrepancies in flights, dates or times, and does not replace the airline's official platforms. The app acts only as a support and personal-organization tool; always confirm operational information from the airline's official sources before each flight.
4.1 Optional features, beta features and specific notices
Roster changes, acceptances/acknowledgments and report times must always be handled on the airline's official platform — the only valid source for operational purposes. Additionally:
- Roster updates: it is the crew member's responsibility to keep CrewSync on the latest version of the flight roster at all times. Updates happen by manual request (PDF upload) or via official/SSO sign-in — an optional, beta-stage feature — and, like any software, may contain errors or bugs.
- Hotel information: an optional, beta-stage feature, subject to bugs. It is the crew member's responsibility to keep it updated and to obtain report times and schedule information from the airline's official system.
- Meal Plan (GOL catering): optional use. It is the crew member's responsibility to always import the latest version of the current month's plan and to follow the airline's corporate rules on phone and smartwatch use in the workplace.
- Meal per diems: the calculation may contain errors; the feature is optional and informational only, and is never intended to confront statements or reports issued by airlines. When in doubt, redo the calculation manually; in case of divergence, app screenshots must not be used to contest the airline's official documents.
- Salary calculation (beta): an informational estimate only, computed on the device from the imported roster and the rules of the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA). It does not replace your payslip or the airline's official systems. Any discrepancies should be handled through official channels, without using app screenshots to contest company documents.
- Photos of colleagues in the crew list: another crew member's profile photo shown in the list is their personal data, shared with you only inside the app and only because you are rostered together. Saving, capturing, publishing, forwarding or using that photo outside CrewSync is not permitted, for any purpose. Your own photo can be hidden at any time in Settings → Privacy (Android) or Settings → Preferences → Privacy (iPhone).
- Aircraft position (aircraft track and lookup by registration): data from collaborative ADS-B networks (adsb.lol, ODbL 1.0 license), the official Flightradar24 API and public aviation databases. Coverage, accuracy and availability are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the source available at the time of the lookup. The information is illustrative only, for personal tracking, and must not be used for operational decisions.
5. Third-Party Services
Some CrewSync features rely on cloud infrastructure services, in particular:
- Firebase Authentication — for CrewSync account authentication (email + password).
- Cloudflare Workers + D1 + R2 — for roster backups, profile photos and network protection.
- REDEMET, AISWEB, OpenWeather, CheckWX — for weather data (METAR/TAF/SIGMET) and airport information.
- adsb.lol and public aviation databases, for aircraft position and route (community ADS-B data, ODbL 1.0 license).
- Flightradar24 (official Flightradar24 AB API), for aircraft position when the collaborative networks do not cover the region being looked up.
Use of these services is subject to each provider's own terms and policies. CrewSync enters into data-processor relationships with them, always respecting applicable data protection law.
6. Connections Feature
The Connections feature works only with the explicit consent of the parties involved (request + acceptance) and for personal, informational purposes. Connections can be removed at any time by either side; upon removal, both leave each other's Connections list and lose access to the shared roster.
7. Visitor Mode
People with no aviation ties (family, friends) may use CrewSync in Visitor mode to follow a crew member's roster, subject to the crew member's explicit acceptance. Visitor mode has no access to crew-exclusive features and only views the shared roster in a humanized form (without operational codes). It can be undone at any time.
8. Account and Data Deletion
The user may, at any time, delete stored data, remove connections, end the optional integrations' session (erasing the local token and cache), and permanently delete the account. Deletion is permanent: on iOS, in Settings → Preferences → Danger zone; on Android, in Settings → Advanced options; or in the Visitor-mode menu.
Account deletion — whether requested intentionally by the user or done by mistake (including by third parties with access to the device or credentials) — is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, the account and its associated data cannot be recovered.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CrewSync and App Comin are not liable for loss, unavailability, corruption or deletion of cloud-stored data resulting from: (i) account deletion by the user or third parties; (ii) system, server, network, device or app failures; (iii) acts of God, force majeure or unavailability of third-party services. Users should keep their own copies of any information they consider important (e.g., the original roster).
9. Limitation of Liability
CrewSync is provided "as is" and does not replace airlines' official systems. The app must not be used as the sole operational source. Before each flight, always confirm information through the airline's official channels.
10. App Store Compliance
CrewSync follows the Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines, including native UI design, minimal and transparent data collection, in-app sign-out and account deletion, and processing of premium subscriptions through each store's official means (StoreKit on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android), with no external checkout links.
11. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may change at any time without prior notice. The version published on this page, identified by its update date, always prevails. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
